Headwaters families! We are trying something new this year in regards to uniforms! In the past, neighbors and friends of players have passed down retired or too small uniforms to each other. Although this is very helpful for shorts and skirts, it really screws some things up when it comes to numbers. We will be hosting a gear swap on Tuesday January the 10th from 4-6pm (location to be determined). Here you will be able to purchase used uniform items for $10 per item. If you have any uniforms that do not work for you anymore (too small or a child has moved up to high school), and you want to donate them to the swap, please drop them between now and November 30th to Donnie Olsson Real Estate office, 510 W Hemlock Bozeman. The goal is for families to save money on new uniform purchasing and of course, put used uniforms to use, AND it will make a little money for the program. I will be going off of last year's numbers for number assignments this year (this applies mostly for folks who do not need a new top) and new players will be assigned a number.
Uniforms are a very complicated thing to sort out due to the structure of the teams being 3/4, 5/6 etc and not having numbers overlap on a team. That said, it is nearly impossible to fulfill number requests and I thank you for understanding. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
One last thing. If you ordered uniform items last year and they never came in, I did receive a box over the summer and I hopefully have all of the missing items. I will bring them to the swap to hand out. I'm very sorry about the disaster that was and I thank you so much for your patience. We are in communications with another vendor in the US to avoid over seas shipping delays like last year.
Looking forward to another exciting season with Headwaters Lacrosse! Don't forget to recruit your friends! It truly is a wonderful sport.
