2021 Spring Lacrosse

The spring season registration is open from December 1, 2020 - January 24, 2021.  

Boy’s Required Equipment:

  • Boy’s lacrosse stick
  • Helmet- equipped with face mask, chin pad and a cupped four point chin strap fastened to all four hookups, must be worn by all players. In high school players are required to have all white helmets.  Any color of helmet is allow at the youth level but for future planning plan on buying white on white.
  • Mouth guard
  • Gloves
  • Chest and shoulder pads
  • Elbow Pads Arm pads
  • Protective cup
  • Cleats
Additional expenses you may expect:
  • $35 Registration with US Lacrosse which is required for all players.
  • Uniform - 7/8, 5/6, 3/4 will need to purchase a uniform if they did not purchase one in the 2020 season.  Uniform link to purchase will come soon to those who registered.

 

Scholarships are available.  If you wish to apply for a scholarship please do so as soon as possible by completing this form and emailing it to todd@highline-partners.com.  You must apply for a scholarship prior to registering to receive a discount code.

Please review all the information/schedules based on grade level as there are differences between the divisions.

7/8TH GRADE BOYS 

  • Grades: 7th-8th 
  • Season: March 1- June 6, 2021
  • Practice: March 1-April 2: 2X per week. April 5-June 6: 3x/week.
  • Games: 20-24 scheduled through Montana Youth Lacrosse Association (MYLA) and Jamborees in Spokane and Bozeman
  • Philosophy MYLA Teams:  All skill levels are welcome with a concentration on improving skills, building confidence on and off the field, instilling the importance of team, integrity and community, and nurturing a passion for the game as a competitive MYLA program. Games: 20-24 scheduled through Montana Youth Lacrosse Association (MYLA) as well as jamborees in Spokane and Bozeman 

  • Philosophy Travel Team:  There is one competitive tiered team. This team will not be allowed to play in MYLA sanctioned events but it is possible to play Montana teams at non-MYLA sanctioned events. Participation in this team is voluntary. Fee is an additional $165 in addition to the regular season registration fees. The additional fees are due to tournament fees, coaching and travel expenses. Payment is due immediately upon being rostered to the tournament team.

    If your athlete does not want to be evaluated for the travel team, let the coaches know.  Once your athlete is elected for the travel team, you are expected to play for that team. 

  • **Please note**  There will be two MYLA teams and one non-MYLA Tournament team.   Evaluations will happen a week or two before the season and dates/locations will be announced in the coming months. 

  • Fee:  $425 + uniform (see below)
  • Registration:  December 1 - January 24th 
  • Format: 11 v 11
  • Practices: Indoor March 1- April 2.  No practice over spring break. Outdoor after April 5.

5/6TH GRADE BOYS 

  • Season: March 1 - June 6
  • Games: 20-24 scheduled through Montana Youth Lacrosse Association + Jamborees in Spokane and Bozeman
  • Practice: 2X per week
  • Philosophy: All skill levels are welcome with a concentration on improving skills, building confidence on and off the field, instilling the importance of team, integrity, and community, and nurturing a passion for the game as a competitive MYLA program.
  • Fee:  $375 + uniform (see below)
  • Registration:  December 1st - January 24th 
  • Format: 11 v 11
  • Practices: Indoor March 1- April 2.  Outdoor after April 5.  No practices week of Spring Break.

3/4TH GRADE BOYS 

  • Season: March 22 - June 6
  • Practice: 2X per week
  • Games: 16-20 scheduled through MYLA  + Headwaters Classic Jamboree in Bozeman and MYLA State Tournament.  Optional election to attend the Spokane Lax Fest.  
  • Philosophy:  All skill levels are welcome with a concentration on improving skills, building confidence on and off the field, instilling the importance of team, integrity, and community, and nurturing a passion for the game as a competitive MYLA program.
  • Fee:  $275 + uniform (see below).  $50/player additional if electing to attend Spokane Lax Fest.  
  • Format: 7 v 7
  • Practices: Indoor March 22- April 2, Outdoor after April 5. 

K-2ND GRADE BOYS  

  • Season: March 22 - May 30
  • Practice: 1.5 hours 2X per week
  • Games Schedule: The K-2 league is in-house and does not travel with the MYLA schedule. In-house games will be played throughout the season. Teams will participate in the Headwaters Classic Jamboree. 
  • Philosophy: All skill levels are welcome with a concentration on improving skills, building confidence on and off the field, instilling the importance of team, integrity, and community, and nurturing a passion for the game as an in-house league.
  • Fee: $100
  • Format: 7 v 7
  • Practices:  Indoor 2/week March 22-April 2; Outdoor practices and in-house games after April 5.
